Fleet sponsorship helps a company provide and manage access to Patriot Trucker Pay Calculator. It does not turn a driver’s private pay records into fleet records.
This explanation reflects the current PTPC fleet portal and driver onboarding flow. It should be reviewed again whenever portal permissions or returned dashboard fields change.
What fleet administrators manage
Administrators can manage sponsorship status, onboarding progress, and licensing capacity for their company.
The fleet view includes the company, seat capacity, available seats, driver IDs used for sponsorship, sponsorship status, onboarding labels, and recent sponsorship activity. Authorized fleet owners and administrators can create or revoke sponsorships. Those actions manage access; they do not expose the driver’s financial workspace.
What remains private
Fleet administrators cannot view a driver’s trips, paychecks, deductions, fuel purchases, or private financial records through the fleet portal.
The current dashboard response also does not return settlement values, authentication secrets, temporary passwords after their one-time handoff, or a driver’s private recovery email. Drivers complete setup with their own private password and recovery process.
Why the boundary matters
Clear access boundaries let fleets offer a practical driver benefit while drivers retain control of the records they enter into their account.
Review standard fleet sponsorship rates and volume discounts.
What happens when sponsorship ends
Revoking sponsorship ends company-sponsored access. It does not delete the driver’s PTPC account or personal records. Depending on the driver’s eligibility, subscription, or trial status, the driver may retain access through another entitlement.
Safe onboarding practices
- Give onboarding credentials only to the intended driver through an approved secure channel.
- Do not email credentials automatically from the demo or fleet portal.
- Treat a bulk invitation export as sensitive and delete it after distribution.
- Never ask a driver to share their private password or recovery-email verification code.
Questions fleets should be able to answer
Before rollout, designate who can manage sponsorships, how credentials are handed to drivers, how completed exports are destroyed, and who responds to privacy questions. A clear process supports the same trust the product is designed to strengthen.
